IF our representatives pass Senate Bill 1597 and House Bill 2948 called Fix America's Schools Today (FAST) then local school districts and community colleges will have $30 billion in grants by the summer of 2012 for school facility repair and modernization.
Fixing America's schools will reduce our nation's backlog of deferred maintenance and employ hundreds of thousands of workers.
